While on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Ed Sheeran performed his hit song “Shape of You” with only instruments you would find in a classroom.

The 26-year-old singer was joined for his performance by Fallon and Philadelphia natives The Roots.

His performance on The Tonight Show was not the first time Sheeran showed his versatility. During this month’s Grammy Awards, Sheeran performed “Shape of You” all on his own with only an acoustic guitar, a keyboard and no ear piece.

Sheeran joins the likes of Adele, Christina Aguilera, Madonna, Mariah Carey and more as artists who have tried their hand at this late night signature.
