Due to an overwhelming demand, Ed Sheeran has added a second show in Philadelphia to his North American tour!
On Friday (March 11), it was announced that Ed Sheeran would play not one, but two shows in the City of Brotherly Love. The show will take place on Wednesday July 12, the night following his first sold-out show.
Tickets for the newly added show go on sale Friday, March 24 at 10 a.m. To purchase tickets for the show, click here.
Sheeran’s tour will celebrate his third studio album ‘÷‘ which features songs like “Shape of You” and “Castle On The Hill,” both of which debuted in the top-10 on the charts. With these two singles, Sheeran became the first artist to ever have two singles make simultaneous top-10 debuts.
‘÷‘ as a whole has also found success of its own. Following its release earlier this month, all 16 of the album’s tracks formed the actual top-16 on Spotify’s Top 50 chart in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
At only 26 years of age, Sheeran is already an 11-time Grammy Award nominee, with over 22 million albums sold.
The first of Sheeran’s two shows in Philadelphia will take place on Tuesday, July 11.
