Beyoncé gave one teen the gift of a lifetime and it was all thanks to a hashtag.
The Lemonade artist made the dreams of Ebony Banks come true when she surprised the teen with a FaceTime call. Banks, a teenager from Houston, Texas – Beyoncé’s hometown, is currently battling stage four cancer.
The teen’s friends and classmates created the hashtag #EBOBMEETSBEYONCE in an attempt to have Banks meet her Grammy Award winning idol. Before long, Beyoncé took notice and the teen’s dream became a reality.
In the brief video that is making its rounds on social media, Banks can be heard saying “I love you Beyoncé,” to which Queen Bey replied “I love you.”
