Beyoncé may not be the most active social media celebrity out there, but that doesn’t mean her posts aren’t valuable.
According to a new report from D’Marie Analytics, which tracks social media reach, Beyoncé is the most valuable personality on social media. A single given Facebook or Instagram post from the Lemonade artist is said to have a worth of more than $1 million in advertising value.
What makes this even more crazy is that Queen Bey isn’t even the most followed personality on social media – she isn’t even in the top-10. She may have more than 178 million followers on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram combine, but that only makes her the 22nd most followed online personality.
Chief executive of D’Marie told Moneyish that in today’s world less is more when it comes to social media and Beyoncé gets that. “Her limited release of exclusive, curated content…causes such a frenzy from her audience. These days, less is really more.”
When it comes to Beyoncé’s posts, “a frenzy” is a great way to describe the Beyhive’s reaction. Just take Beyoncé’s twin pregnancy announcement photo for example. Since its post date back in February, the photo has already become the most liked Instagram post of all-time (10.8 million likes), supplanting Selena Gomez’s Coke ad.
