Drinking Wine May Be Best Workout For Your Brain

Want to take your brain to the gym? All you have to do is drink a glass of wine.

According to The Times, Dr. Gordon Shepherd from the Yale School of Medicine says drinking wine “engages more of our brains than any other human behavior.”

Shepherd writes in his book Neuroenology: How The Brain Creates The Taste of Wine that swirling a glass of wine in your mouth triggers your tongue muscles and taste receptors, which in turn actually engages more of the brain than listening to music or even solving math problems.

So if you want to give your brain a good workout, forget the crossword puzzles and your kids’ math homework, all you have to do is just pick up a glass of wine and enjoy!
