One obstacle that prevents adults from hitting the gym on a regular basis is tiredness. But what if you could go to the gym and take a nap; would you do it? Well, one gym in the UK is offering you the opportunity to do just that!
David Lloyd Clubs in the UK has introduced a new class for adults called “Napercise.” The group class offers mid-afternoon studio sleep sessions where tired parents can come and yes take a nap.
The sleep-sessions are 45 minutes long and were created with exhausted parents in mind. According to the club, 19 percent of exhausted parents admit to falling asleep at work.
Napercise was not just designed to allow parents to catch a few extra minutes of sleep. Rather it was designed to “reinvigorate the mind, the body and even burn the odd calorie.”
