Nicki Minaj has been in the giving mood as of late. Just weeks after offering to pay college tuition for a number of fans, Nicki Minaj has shared the role she has played in helping develop a village in India.
The 34-year-old rapper took to social media this weekend to share photos and a video from a village in India she has helped quietly support over the years. Minaj wrote that through her pastor Lydia Sloley, she has helped bring a computer center, a tailoring institute, a reading program and two water wells to the village.
“We complain about the most ridiculous little things when some [people] don’t even have clean water,” Minaj wrote on social media. “Blessings to India. Our work is far from done.”
This is the kind of thing that makes me feel the most proud. The money I've sent to this village in India for the last couple years [via my Pastor Lydia Sloley], has gotten them a Computer Center, a Tailoring Institute, a Reading Program and 2 WATER WELLS. We complain about the most ridiculous little things when some ppl don't even have clean water. Blessings to India. Our work is far from done. I'll tell you guys more about my charity work in the near future in case you'd like to be a part of it. Love🙏🏽
Earlier this month, Minaj showed off her charitable side when she offered to pay more than $20,000 for the college tuition of a number of fans.
Minaj said she will tell everyone about more of her charity work in the future in case others would like to be a part of it.
