Katy Perry has just added another chapter to her ongoing feud with Taylor Swift.
During her appearance on James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke special Monday (May 22), Katy Perry addressed her ongoing feud with fellow pop superstar Taylor Swift. “There is a situation,” Perry told Corden.
“She wouldn’t speak to me. I do the right thing anytime that it feels like a fumble,” Perry said. “It was a full shut-down and then she writes a song (“Bad Blood”) about me and I’m like, ‘OK, cool, cool, cool. That’s how you want to deal with it?'”
While it has now spanned years, Perry admitted she is ready for the feud to come to an end.
“What I want to say is that I’m ready for that B.S. to be done. Now there is a law of cause and effect. You do something and there’s going to be a reaction,” Perry said. “Trust me daddy, there’s going to be a reaction. It’s all about karma.”
Of course, many believe the reaction Perry mentioned has already come in the form of her latest single “Swish Swish.” The song, oddly enough even features the lyrics “karma’s not a liar.”
This fall, Katy Perry will bring her Witness Tour to Philadelphia. She will perform at the Wells Fargo Center on Monday, September 18.
